Publication Policies

Licence and Permission

Under the premise of legal publishing, the corresponding author is required to grant an exclusive licence to IISTR on behalf of all authors. If authors may use their own material in other publications, IISTR must be informed in advance. The request for permission must be made in writing prior to reusing the material.

Once the submitted paper is accepted for publication, authors will be invited to fill in an electronic copyright transfer form. If the form hasn’t been received along with the final revised manuscript, the publication of your manuscript may be postponed.

Manuscripts submitted for publication must be original, previously unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. If previously published materials written by others have to be used, the copyright-owner’s permission must be obtained prior to submission. The author takes the responsibility for checking whether material submitted is subject to copyright or ownership rights. To avoid delay in publication, it would be better for authors to start obtaining all the permissions as early as possible. If in any doubt about the copyright , apply for permission. IISTR Publications cannot publish material from other publications without permission. If any unpermitted material used in the article is found, the article will be rejected or removed from our website, even if it has already been published.

All articles published by IISTR will be distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY). So anyone is allowed to copy, distribute, and transmit the article on condition that the original article and source is correctly cited. Authors retains all copyright interest or it is retained by other copyright holder, as appropriate and agrees that the manuscript remains permanently open access in IISTR's site under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY). IISTR shall have the right to use and archive the content for the purpose of creating a record and may reformat or paraphrase to benefit the display of the record. For commercial use we need to know about it.

If authors want to appeal a decision, they are required to contact us via email at and explain in detail reasons for any complaints or the appeal. Appeals will only be considered when a reviewer or editor is thought to have a significant error or bias, or when the objectivity is compromised by a documented competing interest. While under appeal, the manuscript remains under formal consideration and hence should not be submitted for consideration elsewhere. Usually, the processing of appeals will take no more than 15 workdays. IISTR has the right to make a final decision and second appeals will not be considered. After the processing of appeals is completed, the manuscript can be submitted to other publishers. Appeals regarding any published materials will only be accepted within 12 months from the first publication date.
